Yes....the dog usually wanders around to check that the service is satisfactory. She understands the command to "Go away" and she is a wonderful distraction for children. As are the two donkeys who lean over their fence waiting for a blade of grass or weed from a passer by. They are very careful with childrens fingers, but as their noses are so long and they cannot see what is being offered, we do suggest that your offering be from the flat palm of your hand. then they will nuzzle around to pick the food from your palm. But...they do only eat food that is green (apart from carrots & apples)
